Look, we can’t take full credit for this transformation. We were incredibly lucky to work alongside Florida Landscape and be part of bringing Andrew’s vision to life.

When we first arrived at Andrew’s home, he was preparing to move in after the property had been tenanted for several years. The gardens were overgrown and, to put it nicely, a little underwhelming.

But with some expert vision, a bit of imagination and a whole lot of transformation, this place is now almost unrecognisable.

As part of the project, we installed a 29sqm Kudos Louvre, attached to two sides of the house and extending beyond the existing footprint to create a huge, versatile space for entertaining.

The attention to detail really makes this louvre stand out. The blade colour was carefully matched to the existing joinery, while the frame was matched to the colour of the house roof. The combination looks incredibly sharp and catches the sunlight beautifully when the blades are opened.

The automated rain sensors mean Andrew doesn’t have to worry about unexpected weather either.  The louvre can automatically close to help protect his outdoor furniture and fireplace.

And the plans for the space don’t stop there. Andrew is looking at adding a drop-down blind and projector, creating the perfect spot to watch the All Blacks in winter, or settle in for a movie with the grandkids on a warm summer evening.

We recently went back to catch up with Andrew over a coffee and capture the finished photography, and it was so good to hear just how thrilled he is with the result.
